About John McIntosh

A longtime Baptist pastor, John McIntosh has overseen the expansion of rural churches in locations throughout the Midwest. As pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Onslow, Iowa, from 2001 to 2004, he played an integral role in expanding church attendance for Sunday morning service. In addition, a midweek community program he launched focused on ministering to children who were unchurched. Mr. McIntosh then guided the Winneshiek Evangelical Free Church for over a decade. He was successful in expanding the Freeport, Illinois, church through initiatives such as starting new Bible studies and kids’ community outreach efforts. He has also a served as coach for youth basketball and football and held board responsibilities with a local crisis pregnancy center. John McIntosh has attended meetings of Ohio’s Christian Education Conference, as well as Powerful Purpose of Grace Pastors and Leaders Conference. He has also authored the column “From the Pulpit” in the Journal Standard, addressing topics such as “How to Have a Good Day, Every Day.”
